Mission Statement: The founding fathers of Gothenburg were very wise in planning the community forest program many years ago. It is our intent to make plans, through the local Tree Board so as to insure that an equally strong forest program exists in the year 2092. Adopted 1992
The City of Gothenburg has received the award of Tree City USA since 1987. The Tree Board has been very active and have had many projects over the years.
